Causes of Infertility In alphabets Order - Letter U to Z

97. Underwear
There may be no proof that underwear causes infertility, but research believe that tight cloth causes high temperature, thereby reducing the sperm production.

98. Unicornuate uterus
Unicornuate uterus is a malforming uterus which is formed from one only of the paired mullerian ducts while the other mullerian duct does not develop. Women with unicornuate uterus may never be diagnosis and may be possible to get pregnant but the reprodutive failure is high.

99. Ureaplasma urealyticum
Ureaplasia urealyticum is a bacterium belonging to the family Mycoplasmataceae. it is a types of bacteria infection with no symptoms and sexual transmitted between partner and interferes with the reproductive processes including tubal disease, decrease sperm movement and quality causing infertility.

100. Uterine factors
Uterine problem such as fibroids and endometriosis may increase the risk of infertility because they interfere with the implantation of fertilized egg into the uterus or the ability of uterus to carry the pregnancy to full term.

101.Vaginal adenosis
Vaginal adenosis is a genetic defect caused by the mother taking medication diethylstinesterol during pregnancy leading to abnormal vagina and increasing the risk of cervical cancer.

102. Vaginitis
It is caused by infection, low levels of estrogen or allergy leading to abnormal vagina discharge. In case of frequent vaginitis, it is caused adhesion in the pelvic region or tubal blockage leading to infertility by reducing the sperm invasion.

103.Vaginosis
It is caused by over production of certain bacteria in the vagina area as resutling of infection causing unbalance of bacteria in the region.

104. Varicocele
Varicocele is an abnormal enlargement of the vein that is in the scrotum draining the testicles causing blood stagnation and leading to poor sperm production and sperm count.

105. Venereal disease
Any disease which can be transmitted through sexual intercourse such as chlamydia and ureaplasma leading to illness and interfering with the fertility.

106. Weight
a) Substaintial weight loss interferes the production of the gonadotropin-releasing hormone which is vital for sperm ang eggs development.
b)Over weight or obesity effects hormone signals and increases the insulin levels leading to over production of male from ovaries which interferes with ovaries in eggs releasing.

107. Workplace hazards
workplace containing high amount of hazardous chemicals may disrupt the processes of reproductive organs leading to eggs and sperm damaging, conception difficult, lower sexual desire and other reproductive diseases.
